JAMESTOWN (NewsDakota)- The 2025 Class B Girls Postseason continued on Monday with the Quarterfinal round of the Region I Tournament at the Jamestown Civic Center.

GAME ONE: (D2-1) Linton-HMB 46 (D1-4) Wyndmere-Lidgerwood 32

One game after scoring 35 points in the District 2 final, Lions senior Jersey Vogel scored 26 points and an early 14-0 run was the difference as Linton-HMB defeated the Warbirds.  Linton-HMB had more offensive rebounds (23) than Wyndmere-Lidgerwood had total rebounds (22) to advance to the semifinal.

GAME TWO:  (D2-3) Edgeley-Kulm-Montpelier 41 (D1-2) Sargent County 39

A late rally came up just short as the Rebels advanced to a rematch of the District 2 Semifinal with a 41-39 win over the Bulldogs.  E-K-M  built a lead as large as eleven in the third quarter before Sargent County rallied and had their potential game-tying shot at the buzzer come up just short.  Libby Mathern led the Rebels with 12 while Emma Bixby had 13 for the Bulldogs.

GAME THREE: (D1-1) RV Maple River 55-41 (D2-4) Kidder County

It was back and forth for a while between the Raiders and Wolves but the Raiders return to the Region semifinals for the 2nd year in a row as they beat the Wolves 55-41. The game started out with no one able to claim the advantage as the Wolves would lead 11-9. That lead would quickly disappear as the Raiders battled back in the 2nd going on a 9-2 run to take a 25-23 lead at the half. Maple River would build that lead throughout the 2nd half taking a 41-34 lead in the 3rd and eventually winning 55-41.

The Raiders advance to the semifinals while Kidder’s season comes to a close with a 12-11 record.

GAME FOUR: (D2-2) LaMoure-LM 46-31 (D1-3) Oakes

The Loboes dominated their way to the semifinals as they beat the Tornadoes 46-31. LaMoure-LM would get started with a 12-6 lead in the first quarter and never look back building that lead to 26-15 at the half. They would put the game away in the 3rd quarter as they’d build to a 43-21 lead to end the quarter. They’d end up winning 46-31.

The Loboes will play the Raiders in the semifinals while Oakes’ season ends with a 15-8 record.

7:30pm- Maple River vs LaMoure-LM
