JAMESTOWN – Senior Nights were both fruitful for 2024-25 Jamestown Blue Jays Basketball.
Jamestown won both ends of a varsity doubleheader Friday from Williston at Jerry Meyer Arena. The Blue Jay girls controlled the game most of the way in a 75-54 win. Jamestown’s boys pulled away in the second half to roll past the Coyotes 91-60. The wins improved both teams’ chances to host West Region tournament play-in games next week.
Girls: Jamestown 75, Williston 54
Though it was Senior Night, an eighth-grader led the way for the Blue Jays.
Macey Neumiller, Jamestown’s leading scorer, poured in a career-high 26 points, including 15 in the first half. Haley Attleson scored 12 for the Blue Jays (7-13, 5-12 WDA) with two three-pointers.
