
MINOT – University of Jamestown Women’s Hockey has played a lot of extra hockey this season, but has taken its share disappointment, and did again on Friday.
Paige Kozak scored 15 seconds into overtime as sixth-ranked Minot State defeated the 15th-ranked Jimmies 1-0 at MAYSA Arena, the Jimmies’ 4th overtime loss this season.
Through regulation, Jamestown (7-14-4-3) missed on three power plays while the Beavers (20-7-1-2) were 0-for-2.
Lilah Drew made 23 saves in goal for the Jimmies. Both teams had 24 shots on goal.
The Jimmies will close the regular season at Minot State on Saturday.
