Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—Carrington held a 14 point halftime lead at 30-16, holding the Harvey-WC Hornets to 4 second quarter points. The Hornets would fight back in the second half and cut the lead down to 54-51 and a chance to tie the game in the final seconds. Two missed three pointers and a late foul put Carrington’s Josh Bickett at the line and he made 1 of 2 free throws that sealed the game at 55-51. Bickett, who scored his 1,000 career point last week had a game high 20 points to lead the Cards to the win. Tate Wolsky added 10 pointa and Grady Idland would add 8 points to aid the Cardinals victory. The Hornets were paced by Jaxon Feist with 13 points and Noah Ziegler added 11. The Cardinals improved to 12-5 overall and H-WC dropped to 7-10.
