City, N.D. – The upcoming special city election on whether or not to abolish the city administrator position will be held on Tuesday, October 4.

On that day, City Auditor Avis Richter says all Valley City residents can vote at one polling place, city hall. She says the polls will open at 7am and close at 7pm

One group in favor of eliminating the position believes the job is unnecessary and expensive.

Another Valley City group says the city administrator position has proven itself to be an efficient way to conduct city business.
