BISMARCK – Jamestown Jimmie women’s basketball junior Kate Cordes and freshman Jessika Lofstrom are the NSAA Players of the Week for the week ending February 1.

Cordes was named the league’s offensive player of the week for the fourth time this season.  In the Jimmies’ 78-67 win over Dickinson State on Friday at Harold Newman Arena, Cordes matched her career high, scoring 32 points for the third time in 2024-25.  Cordes made 12 of 21 shots, including six-of-14 three-pointers.  She also had five rebounds and four assists.

Lofstrom won the defensive player of the week honor for the first time.  In that win over Dickinson State, Lofstrom had five defensive rebounds (seven total), three steals and two blocked shots.
