JAMESTOWN, N.D. (UJ) A community event and update on the University of Jamestown (UJ) cafeteria fire will be held tonight (January 22nd) at 5 pm with a prayer service at the Harold Newman Arena. The University would like to thank everyone involved in helping keep the campus safe and the community informed.
U of J spokeswoman Lisa Jackson said most of our students, first responders, JE Dunn the contractor, and Sodexo and others will be there for this event. The community is welcome to attend as well.
U of Jamestown President Dr. Polly Peterson will give an update on what is next following the January 19th campus fire. A meal for students, staff members and first responder will follow the event courtesy of Sanford Health, Anne Carlsen, Gate City Bank, Collins Aerospace, and Sodexo.
