VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  In 2021, Hi-Liner wrestler Koye Grebel defeated then eighth-grader Ben DeForest of Bismarck in the state semi-finals.

DeForest then rolled undefeated against North Dakota competition for three years.

That streak ended at the hands of another Grebel Saturday.

After losing the in Rumble on the Red semifinals to DeForest, Koltyn Grebel upset DeForest 5-3 Saturday to win the Rotary Tournament in Bismarck.

Grebel was one of two champions for the Hi-Liners Saturday.  The other was Mylee Christianson, who defeated Glasgow, MT native Riley Clampitt 2-1 in the title match in girls competition.

Deegen Kirschenmann added a fifth place finish at 130, and Gabriella Hannig placed eighth at 118.

In boys action, Ryer Muske finished fifth at 189, and Owen Hunt finished eight at heavyweight.
