5th place game – Maple River 60-50 White Shield

Maple River was led by the dynamic pairing of Tee Sylling and Carter Baasch, who combined for 39 points. Sylling was the true standout in the game, recording 19 rebounds to go along with his 20-point effort. All quarters were decided by six points or fewer, but White Shield could never string together enough stops to mount a run long enough to pull even with Maple River. The Warriors of White Shield were led in scoring by Landin Felix, who finished with 21 points and six rebounds.

 

3rd place game – May-Port CG 58-43 LaMoure/L-M

The May-Port CG Patriots rolled to an impressive 58-43 win over the LaMoure/L-M Loboes. The Patriots were led in scoring by Wyatt Perkins, who finished the game with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Their domination on the glass ultimately secured the victory, as May-Port outrebounded the Loboes 42-23, including 18 offensive rebounds. Colby Theilges was the only player for the Loboes to reach double figures, finishing the game with 10 points on 4-of-15 shooting.

 

4:30 p.m. – Championship – Valley City 47-19 Barnes Co. North

After a tightly contested first quarter the Valley City Hi-Liners proceeded to outscore the Barnes County North (BCN) Bison by a score of 35-8. The Hi-Liners were led by Bryson Heck who finished with 18 points, while Jack Dieterle recorded his third straight double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Jayson Schlenker was the leading man for BCN as he finished the game with eight points on 2/15 shooting.
