CITY (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City High School gymnastics team took second place Friday at the EDC Championships. As a team, the Hi-Liners scored 138.45 points, about five points behind meet champion Fargo.

Rebecca Fisher led Valley City with an individual title on Bars and third place on Beam at the EDC meet.

The Hi-Liners are in action again this weekend when they host the State Gymnastics Meet at the Hi-Liner Activity Center. Team Day is on Friday and Individual Day is Saturday.

Action starts Friday with the opening ceremonies at 3:45 p.m. Team competition begins at 4 p.m. On Saturday, opening ceremonies are at 1:45 p.m., and individual competition begins at 2 p.m. All competition is at the Hi-Liner Activity Center.
