VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Hi-Liner/Farmer’s Union Insurance Girl’s Wrestling Wrestler of the Week for the week ending December 14th, 2024 is Camdyn Kappenman. Camdyn is a 7th grader at Valley City High School and wrestles at 100 lbs for the Hi-Liner’s Girl’s Wrestling Team.
Camdyn had a great showing at the Grand Forks Sertoma Girls tournament. On her way to finishing in 5th place, Camdyn won two matches, one by a score of 17-0 (technical fall), and another via a 27 second pin, and nearly had a pin in a third match!
Coaches Note: Cam has came such a long ways from the start of season. Her confidence is up, her willingness to “engage and fight” her opponent is up so everything is coming together for her!
