BISMARCK – Jamestown Jimmies senior guard Silas Bennion was named the NSAA Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending November 23.

Bennion scored 19 points each in UJ’s 86-74 loss at Minot State on Thursday and in the Jimmies’ 79-64 win Saturday over Northern State at Harold Newman Arena.

In the two games, he hit 13-of-20 field goals, six-of-10 three pointers and six-of-eight free throws.  Bennion had five rebounds and four assists.

This is the second POW honor for Bennion as a Jimmie.  He won one GPAC Player of the Week award last season.
