CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) There may be more walking path options for students and others in Valley City as a group of city officials work to secure the “Safe Routes to School Grant” that will build a shared use path.

The estimated cost of building the shared use path is $150,000.  Funding for the project would come from the federal Transportation Alternatives Program and Safe Routes to School.

The group presented their plan to the Valley City School board on February 12.
