JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) has named Marissa Sinclair as its newest Legend Award recipient, the highest honor bestowed upon JRMC employees for exceptional service and dedication.

Sinclair, an OR Unit Clerk with JRMC’s Surgical Services team since 2021, was nominated by Admissions Receptionist Macy Fischer for her outstanding contributions to the medical center.

“Marissa is an outstanding and brilliant coworker to give this award to,” a media release states. “She is a true difference-maker here at the medical center and a great Legend to be inspired by.”

In her role, Sinclair handles critical aspects of patient management, including scheduling surgeries, assembling surgical charts, and coordinating with outlying hospitals to gather patient information. Her efforts ensure seamless operations within the surgical department.

Sinclair is widely respected among her colleagues for her reliability, proactive mindset, and commitment to patient care. She is also praised for fostering a supportive and encouraging work environment.

“Marissa is someone you want to look up to,” Fischer added. “She shows everyone here at JRMC to not only be a leader but a friend.”
