BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Republican Sen. Kevin Cramer has secured a second term in the U.S. Senate, winning his race against Democrat Katrina Christiansen on Tuesday.
Cramer, a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives and public utilities regulator, successfully defended his Senate seat after previously defeating Democrat Heidi Heitkamp in 2018 in a high-profile race that contributed to Republicans securing control of the Senate.
Known for his strong support of former President Donald Trump, Cramer benefited from Trump’s endorsement and two campaign visits to North Dakota in 2018
