JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Leaders at Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) have been recognized among Becker’s Healthcare’s “CEOs and CNOs to Know” for 2024, highlighting their dedication to advancing rural healthcare access and expanding medical services.

Mike Delfs, JRMC’s president and CEO, was honored for his role in enhancing access to essential healthcare for North Dakota’s rural communities. Under Delfs’ leadership, JRMC has implemented advanced medical technologies and expanded specialty care services, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances for quality healthcare. This acknowledgment underscores Delfs’ commitment to driving innovative, patient-centered care.

Trisha Jungels, JRMC’s chief nursing officer and vice president of clinical services, was also named among Becker’s 2024 honorees. Overseeing clinical departments such as emergency care, radiology, surgical services, and JRMC’s Cancer Center, Jungels has spearheaded key initiatives, including the Nursing Clinical Excellence Ladder program. Her efforts have expanded services in OB-GYN, urology, and ENT care, and she is actively guiding JRMC toward achieving the Pathway to Excellence designation. In 2022, her contributions to nursing and patient care earned her the University of Jamestown’s “Nursing Excellence Award.”

JRMC, a critical access hospital with a mission focused on community well-being, has transformed healthcare access across Stutsman County and surrounding regions. From orthopedics and wound care to women’s health, JRMC continues to expand specialty services, enabling rural residents to receive comprehensive healthcare close to home.
