Please join us for a benefit event for Christy Olauson Sunday, Oct. 20, from 4 – 7 PM at Chautauqua Park’s Dacotah Pavilion. There will be BBQ’s, chips, water & coffee. Silent auction closes at 6:30 PM.

In January, Christy underwent a routine knee replacement surgery. However, her recovery has been delayed by multiple infections and ongoing complications, including a recent struggle with sepsis. She has had six surgeries on the same knee and continues to fight against infection. Throughout this time, Christy has been unable to work.

Christy has dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse at the Sheyenne Care Center and currently at Essentia Health Clinic where she is well known and loved by all. She and her husband Shawn have two adult children, Shane (Amanda) and Mindy; and one grandson, Calvin.
