VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A motorist was injured after striking a parked vehicle and a tree in the 200 block of 6th Street Northeast in Valley City on Thursday, October 17th.

According to a news release from the Valley City Police Department, at approximately 8:02 am the Valley City Police Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash causing injury. A 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan traveling eastbound on 6th St NE in the 200 block struck a parked motor vehicle which was unattended, crossed the street, and struck a tree.

The driver was transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The Barnes County Ambulance and the Valley City Fire Department assisted the police department at the scene.
