JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Victory Lutheran Church will hold its 21st Annual Trunk or Treat event on Thursday, October 31, offering a safe and fun Halloween experience for local children. As the originator of this community tradition, the church has welcomed over 700 children each year to participate in the festive evening.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the parking lot at Victory Lutheran Church, located at 510 9th Avenue SW, will be filled with cars offering candy from open trunks. Children ages 0-12 will be able to collect treats from the convenience of their family’s car as they drive through the lot, stopping at each participating vehicle. By the end of the evening, kids are expected to have their bags full of goodies.

Local businesses are also invited to join the event by bringing a vehicle and handing out treats. Those interested can contact the church office at 251-1570 for more information.
