GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Valley City Hi-Liner cross country team competed in the EDC Championship on Saturday, with most runners setting personal bests. In the girls 3K, Camdyn Kappenman and Rachel Drummond led the Hi-Liners, finishing 4th and 8th, respectively.

Greta Goven was named Class A Senior Athlete of the Year for girls cross country. She placed in the top 30 in the 5K, which featured over 100 participants.

Valley City will compete in a meet in Moorhead, Minnesota, on Wednesday before wrapping up the season at the state meet on October 24.
