CHRISTINE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Dickinson man suffered injuries in a two vehicle crash in Richland County on Sunday, October 13th at approximately 10:30 PM on Interstate 29 southbound lane near MM 43 in Richland County. About a mile south of Christine, N.D.

The Highway Patrol said a 1995 Kenworth semi-truck pulling a trailer was traveling southbound on Interstate 29. A 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 was traveling behind the semi-truck.

The driver of the Ram 18-year-old Tyson Schneider failed to see the Kenworth semi-truck traveling at a slower rate of speed in front of him and rear-ended the semi-truck.

The collision caused the Dodge Ram to enter the median of Interstate-29. The Kenworth pulled over to the west shoulder after the collision.

Schneider sustained serious none-life threatening injuries from the crash and was transported
by ambulance to the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

The driver of the semi 27-year-old Jacob Roesler of Leonard, N.D. was not injured in the crash. This crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

North Dakota Highway Patrol, Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Christine Fire Department, Kindred ambulance, and Sanford ambulance all assisted in the crash.
