JAMESTOWN – Jamestown held undefeated Bellevue goalless through the first half, but the Bruins scored twice in the second half Saturday to defeat UJ Men’s Soccer 2-0 at Rollie Greeno Field at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.
Edwin Cisneros opened the scoring for Bellevue (9-0-2) in the 62nd minute. Jeremiah Hteh added a second in the 88th minute.
Bellevue outshot Jamestown (3-5-3) 17-7 and 8-3 on target.
Charlie Clark made six saves in net for the Jimmies.
Jamestown will play Thursday at Creve Coeur, Missouri against Missouri Baptist.
