Enderlin, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The Oakes Tornados have now won 8 straight sets as they swept the Enderlin Eagles in Enderlin on Monday with the set scores of 25-22, 25-18, and 25-14.

The first set was the closest of the night as there were 8 ties and 4 lead changes throughout the set. The eagles led from 10-9 till 14-14 when Oakes would retake the lead for good. Oakes would never pull further then 2-3 points away however as  Enderlin hung in there for the entirety of the set. The Tornados would win 25-22.

Set 2 saw Oakes jumping out to a quick 5-1 lead. The lead would slowly dwindle down to 2 at 8-6 and 12-10 but Oakes would step on the gas and pull away to a 17-11 lead. The Eagles wouldn’t let that lead stand and get back to within 2 at 19-17 before Oakes called a timeout. The Tornadoes would then go on a 6-1 run out of the timeout to win 25-18.

Oakes would dominate in set 3 take an early 7-3 lead and not giving it up the entire way through. Oakes would get a run to make it 21-8. They would trade points back and forth till Oakes inevitably won the set 25-14.
