JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) -Katrina Christiansen’s campaign announced a significant shift in polling data today, revealing that she has cut incumbent Senator Kevin Cramer’s lead to single digits. The latest head-to-head ballot shows Christiansen gaining momentum with 40% of the vote, while Cramer leads with 49%.
A media release states that the poll highlights growing dissatisfaction among North Dakotans with Senator Cramer’s reliance on corporate PAC money. The release also emphasized that many voters are frustrated with the gridlock in Washington and Cramer’s focus on partisan politics over solutions for North Dakota.
The Christiansen campaign views this polling data as a turning point, with her grassroots approach resonating with a coalition of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. The campaign remains energized, with increased volunteer engagement and financial support from small donors. A series of events are planned throughout the state to further bolster her momentum.
The poll, conducted by Lake Research Partners, surveyed 500 likely voters with a Republican-leaning partisan index of R+19. It was conducted between September 23 and September 26 and has a margin of error of 4.4%.
As the race for North Dakota’s U.S. Senate seat intensifies, Christiansen’s campaign believes that her message is gaining traction and that her support will continue to grow as election day approaches.
