AMES, IA – Six different players scored Saturday as the Jamestown Jimmies’ ACHA Division 1 men’s hockey team continued its great start with a 6-1 win over Iowa State at the ISU Arena.

Matthew Poole scored 1:19 into the game before UJ scored three goals in just over four minutes later in the first period.

Carter Johnson tallied at 10:24.  Darius Makse, who scored four times in a win Friday against Iowa State, scored at 11:57, followed by Carter Johnson at 14:43.

Kaelan Shelton and Marlo Decapite scored for Jamestown (3-0) in the third period.

Brad Fortin, Ray Warrack and Jordan Baranesky each had two assists.

Brandon Weare made 11 saves in goal.

Jamestown will host Waldorf Friday and Saturday at Wilson Arena.
