AMES, IA – A six-point game for Darius Makse led the University of Jamestown ACHA Division 1 Men’s Hockey team to a 9-0 rout of Iowa State Friday at ISU Arena.

Makse scored four and tallied two assists for UJ (3-0).  Brad Fortin scored twice.  Jordan Baranesky, Keaton Cline and Carter Johnson also scored goals for the Jimmies.  Fortin, Kaelan Shelton, Baranesky and Alex Erichuk each had two assists as Jamestown out shot Iowa State 46-13.  Brandon Weare earned the shutout, making just 13 saves.

The Jimmies will again play the Cyclones in Ames on Saturday.
