JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The District 12 Democratic-NPL is organizing a series of debate watch parties leading up to the November 5, 2024, election. These events will feature opportunities for local residents to engage with each other and learn more about candidates in key races. Attendees can enjoy food, network with others, and receive information on volunteering for local and statewide campaigns, a media release states.

The first watch party will take place on Thursday, September 26th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Club Room (210 3rd St SW), where attendees can watch the U.S. House debate. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided, with a social hour beginning at 6 p.m. and the debate starting at 7 p.m.

The U.S. Senate debate watch party is scheduled for Wednesday, October 2nd, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Shady’s/Gladstone Meeting Room (111 2nd St NE). Appetizers will be served, and the event will also include the monthly District 12/29 Democratic-NPL meeting at 6 p.m., followed by the debate at 7 p.m.

On Thursday, October 10th, the ND Governor Debate watch party will also be held at The Club Room. Popcorn and desserts will be available during the social hour, starting at 6 p.m., with the debate beginning at 7 p.m.
