JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Katrina Christiansen and incumbent Senator Kevin Cramer have agreed to participate in two televised debates ahead of the November election, a media release states. The first debate will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 2, hosted by Prairie Public, with a second scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 16, hosted by BEK News.
Christiansen expressed excitement at the opportunity to contrast her policy proposals with what she perceives as a lack of action from Senator Cramer. In a statement, she highlighted her statewide campaign efforts, which included visits to all 53 counties in North Dakota. Christiansen emphasized her commitment to pursuing policies that address everyday concerns, noting that voters are increasingly frustrated with “partisan gridlock and chaos in Washington.”
A media release also stated that Christiansen is critical of Cramer’s record, predicting that he will “avoid the chance to propose solutions” during the debates.
