JAMESTOWN – Ryan Muizelaar homered and drove in four runs Wednesday as University of Jamestown Baseball earned its second win of the fall, 12-2 in seven innings over Mayville State at Jack Brown Stadium.
Muizelaar hit a three-run home run to cap a five-run second inning for Jamestown (2-1). Jordan Singleton had driven in the first two runs of the inning with a double.
Will Bachman hit a two-run double and Ben Swennumson had a two-run single in a four-run fourth inning. Muizelaar grounded in a run with a fielder’s choice in the fifth, followed by a steal of home by Dallas Cummins. Trever Goforth drew a bases-loaded walk in the first inning for Jamestown’s first run.
Ryan Radkey (1-0) struck out seven in five and a third innings, allowing two runs and five hits.
UJ will again host Mayville State next Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Jack Brown Stadium.
