CASSELTON – Both Jamestown High School Cross Country teams took wins Tuesday at the Central Cass Invitational at Casselton Golf Course.

The Blue Jay girls, with 39 points, finished 10 points ahead of Central Cass.  Individually, two Jamestown runners finished in the top 10.  Layna Hoffer was fifth at 22:48.22 and Layla Becker ran in 23:09.26 to finish ninth.

Jamestown’s boys had 48 points to win by 12 over Ellendale.  Jaydyn Velek was seventh for the Jays at 19:21.94 and Micah Stoudt ran 10th at 19:55.18.

The Blue Jays will run Saturday at the Blue and White Invitational in Valley City.
