WEST FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Saturday, September 21st, 2024, the Daughters of the American Revolution Dakota Chapter and Bonanzaville USA invite the public to the dedication of the America 250 “Revolutionary War Patriots” memorial at 10:30am at Bonanzaville! We begin the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary at Bonanzaville. Attendees will meet local Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoy a short program with refreshments to follow! Bonanzaville admission is free to attendees!
The Cass County North Dakota Historical Society (CCNDHS) is the cultural institution in charge of telling the county’s story, as well as preserving and collecting artifacts connected to the county’s history. CCNDHS owns and operates a museum, event center, and prairie village that sits on twelve acres of land in West Fargo, North Dakota called Bonanzaville.
Bonanzaville includes a large main museum, thirty-six historic buildings, a carriage house, a car museum, an air museum, a tractor museum, an agricultural museum, and a law enforcement museum.
Daughters of the American Revolution members come from a variety of backgrounds and interests, but all share a common bond of having an ancestor who helped contribute to securing the independence of the United States of America. The Daughters of the American Revolution is an organization with a deeply rich history while also being truly relevant in today’s world. More than 1,000,000 women have joined the organization since it was founded over 125 years ago.
