CRETE, NE – Ben Brake scored in the 74th minute Saturday to bring University of Jamestown men’s soccer back and to a 2-2 draw with Doane at Papik Field.

Oscar Salgado set up Brake’s goal, then he, Joel Hyland and Jake Simon had shots on net in the last seven minutes for the Jimmies (1-3-2).

Alejandro Tocino Vidal scored in the third minute, set up by Mathias Varlet, for an early Jamestown lead.  Guillen Colom tied the game in the 43rd minute for Doane, who then led after a goal by Ameer Madden in the 57th minute.

Charlie Clark made one save in goal and faced just three shots.

The Jimmies will play Tuesday at St. Cloud State.
