VALLEY CITY, ND  (VCSUVikings.com and NewsDakota.com)  Another week, and yet, another award for Sadie Hansen.

The senior setter for the Vikings notched her third Setter of the Week award in the North Star Athletic Association with a 70-set performance in two matches at Viterbo last weekend.

The Vikings have since defeated Concordia College 3-1 Tuesday night, a night that saw Hansen record another 40 assists.

NSAA Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week

Sadie Hansen – Valley City State (N.D.) – 5’10”, Senior, setter – Oakes, N.D. – Hansen recorded 70 set assists and

10.0 assists per set as (RV) Valley City State (N.D.) went 1-1 record in the Viterbo (Wis.) Fall Invitational. She posted 37

set assists, seven digs, and five kills in VCSU’s 3-0 sweep over Judson (Ill.). She then tallied 33 set assists, 17 digs, and

five kills in a 3-1 setback to the host-team No. 17 Viterbo (Wis.). For the week, Hansen collected 24 digs, 10 kills, two

blocks, and a service ace.

The Vikings play Morningside Friday, and open conference play next week with Dickinson State Wednesday at Graichen Gymnasium.
