JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Community members are invited to take control of their joint health at Jamestown Regional Medical Center’s upcoming event, JRMC U: Your Joints, Your Life. The educational session will be held on Thursday, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Two Rivers Activity Center.
The event will feature Dr. Michael T. Dean, an orthopedic surgeon at JRMC with extensive experience in joint replacement. Throughout his career, Dr. Dean has performed over 6,000 joint replacements, focusing on helping patients reduce pain and restore mobility. During the session, he will discuss the latest advancements in hip and knee replacements, who can benefit from these procedures, what to expect during surgery, and how to prepare for a successful recovery.
Dr. Dean has been at the forefront of orthopedic services at JRMC since 2011, serving as the founding provider when orthopedics became a full-time service at the medical center. His expertise includes total joint replacements and revisions, and he has cared for patients of all ages.
