VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Barnes County Development Corporation (VCBCDC) request for funds to extend the MDU natural gas line under Interstate 94 for residential and commercial development was approved by the city commission on September 3rd.
Director of Development, Jennifer Feist talked about the entrance location for the underground gas line in Valley City.
Feist said the developer would pay 25 percent of the cost, while the remaining 75 percent would be covered by economic development funds.
The request approved by the city was for $200,000 dollars. Another request for $50,000 dollars from the Barnes County Commission is pending.
