BISMARCK – Jamestown Blue Jay girls golfers Belle Sjostrom and Brooke Dietrich qualified for the Class A state tournament on Tuesday by each shooting 92 during the Legacy Invitational at Riverwood Golf Club.

In the qualifying tournament, individuals shooting 92 or better automatically earned themselves berths in the state tournament, which will be held September 30-October 1 at Prairie West Golf Course in Mandan.

Jamestown finished seventh as a team with 372.

St. Mary’s won with 334.  The Saints’ Abi Schneider was the medalist, shooting 77.
