(NewsDakota.com)- Several local athletes were selected to represent North Dakota in the annual Badlands Bowl, where a team on North Dakota All-Stars takes on a team of All-Stars from Montana.
Logan Shockman (TE) from LaMoure, Trevor Anderson (OL/DL) from Griggs-Barnes County and Cordell Schroder (OL/DL) from Carrington, along with Zach Drevlow (OT/DT) from North Sargent and Jeff Illies (TE/WR) from Wyndmere-Lidgerwood were among those selected to play for the North Dakota team.
Bismarck High’s Mark Gibson will be the coach of the North Dakota team again this year. Gibson led his Demons to back-to-back Class AAA state titles.
The 2013 game will be held at Connors Stadium in Miles City, MT on June 15th. To view the entire North Dakota roster you can head to over the Badlands Bowl’s official website.
This years game will be the 20th installment. Montana won last year 27-15 and has won five of the past seven.
