FARGO, N.D. (NDHP) – One person was injured during a three vehicle crash on Monday, August 12th around 9:33pm. But the search for one of the drivers and their vehicle continues.
The Highway Patrol said a 2007 Saturn Vue was southbound on 42nd Street approaching 17th Avenue in the left turn lane to
turn east. At that time a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja driven by 37-year-old Regan Gara of Fargo was northbound approaching the intersection. The Saturn began turning, and the Kawasaki motorcycle struck the right rear side of the Saturn. After the initial collision the Kia Sorrento struck the motorcycle. The Kia Sorrento left the scene. The driver of the Kia Sorrento is currently unknown and is still under investigation.
The motorcycle and driver, Regan Gara, received treatment for his serious non-life-threatening injuries on scene before being transported to Sanford by ambulance. Regan was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Both juveniles were wearing seat belts and where uninjured in the crash. Their names will not be released.
