JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) raised more than $20,000 for women’s health services at its 14th annual Golf “FORE” Good Scramble on July 12.
Proceeds from the event will support the Family BirthPlace, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) program, mammography, and expanded obstetrics and gynecology care.
“We are incredibly grateful for the community’s continued support,” said Tonya Perkins, JRMC Foundation Director. “These funds are vital to providing essential healthcare for women and families in our region.”
The money raised will be used to purchase equipment for advanced mammograms, a new infant security system for the Family BirthPlace, and to support the SANE program.
Nearly 30 teams participated in the golf scramble, which included contests and games. JRMC plans to continue hosting the event annually to support women’s health initiatives.
