BISMARCK – Jamestown Blue Jays softball standout Makenna Nold has been named to the North Dakota High School Coaches Association All-State First Team for the second straight season.

Nold hit .424 in her senior season, with eight home runs, tying a team high, and a club-leading 36 runs batted in.

Nold also won five games as a pitcher while striking out 164 in 85 and two-thirds innings with a 3.19 ERA.

She also was named to the All-WDA Team and named to the Scheels All-Star Softball Series.

Collegiately, Nold will play volleyball at Concordia Moorhead.
