JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A juvenile male was arrested Monday night by Jamestown Police after allegedly pointing a BB gun at another juvenile during a property dispute.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 2nd Ave SE and 3rd St SE around 9:40 p.m. on June 3rd for a report of terrorizing involving a gun. According to police, a juvenile male reportedly pointed a gun at another juvenile male over a stolen property claim.

A police officer located three individuals matching the description of those involved walking southbound on 4th Ave SE shortly after. One of the juveniles reportedly had an object tucked in his waistband that matched the description of the gun.

The officer retrieved the object, which turned out to be a BB gun resembling a Glock pistol. The BB gun lacked markings that would distinguish it from a real firearm. The juvenile suspect also reportedly possessed and consumed alcoholic beverages.
