VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Congratulations to first place winners Aubree Nelson (Valley City ND) in the Super Stock Division and Brianna Berg (Valley City ND) in the Stock Division for winning the 28th Annual Soap Box Derby in Valley City on June 1st. Both are eligible to compete in the International Soap Box Derby event in Akron Ohio during the week of July 14-20, 2024.
There were 21 racers in the Stock Division and 21 in the Super Stock from across North Dakota. Racers competed in a double elimination format. Congratulations to our winners as we wish Aubree and Brianna the best of luck in Akron!

2024 Lloyd Miller Sportsmanship Award: In honor of Lloyd Miller, the Nelson Family comprised of Don, Pam, Nathan, Russell and kids were selected due to their long-time participation and involvement in the Sheyenne Valley Soap Box Derby event.
