DICKINSON- Freshman Brooke Jackson smoked a walk-off single off a drawn-in infield in the last of the seventh inning as the Jamestown Blue Jays rallied for two in the frame to overcome the Bismarck Century Patriots in a WDA Elimination Game 6-5 on Friday night at Bravera Field.

After two scoreless innings, Century scored three unearned runs in the third helped by two Blue Jjay errors.  But Jamestown tied it in the fourth.  Avery Graves launched a solo HR to cut it to 3-1 before Maddie Hoff delivered a game-tying 2-run double to left center to make it 3-3.

Grace Grimm homered in the fourth but that was answered by a solo shot by Addie Graves to tie it at 4.  Mallory Moos then gave the Patriots the lead with a solo homer in the sixth.

But in the seventh, Lucy Falk singled, Avery walked, and Jordan Mikkelson singled.  Sophia Bond was hit by a pitch to force home Falk and tie it at 5 before the walk-off hit by Jackson.

With the win, Jamestown advances to a Class A State Tournament qualifying game against Mandan on Saturday with coverage beginning at 12:45 PM on Thunder 98.3 and online at https://streamdb8web.securenetsystems.net/cirrusencore/98SPORTS
