Patrick D. Wald, 66, of Edgeley, ND, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Oakes Community Hospital.

     Patrick Dennis Wald, son of Sebastian and Luzia (Moch) Wald, was born on June 7, 1945 in Edgeley. Pat attended Edgeley Public School and graduated in 1963, then graduated from Dakota Business College in Fargo, ND. After his schooling, Pat followed his love of farming and went back to the family farm where he farmed for 20 years. Pat also worked for various area farmers for another 20 years. After retiring from farming he lived in LaMoure, ND and Jamestown, ND.

     Pat was a fun loving man with a good sense of humor who could make friends easily. He enjoyed visiting with friends and Polka Dancing, one of his favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed traveling to visit family on the West Coast.

     Pat is survived by three siblings, Allen (Debra) Wald, Phyllis Jerstad, and Rosemary Lubenow; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Wald; and many nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Philapina Wald, Leonard Wald, Viola (Mick) Gilbertson, Catherine (Benny) Anderson, and Leo Wald; and two brothers-in-law, Lincoln Jerstad and Wayne Lubenow.

     Eucharist of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley, with Father Thaines Arulandu officiating.

     Prayer Service: 7:30 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2013 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.

     Visitation: One hour before the services at the church.

     Interment: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley.
