JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Chamber) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce was recognized with the Marketing & Communications Award for membership size less than 400 during the annual Mid-America Chamber Executives (MACE) conference in Sioux Falls, SD.

MACE is made up of chamber professionals belonging to their state chamber executive organization or state chamber of commerce in the six-state area of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

This annual award recognizes a marketing initiative, publication, or digital campaign from a Chamber with FEWER than 400 members. The project should exemplify innovation, relevance to the organization, quality content, originality, and audience engagement tactics that provide a benchmark for other organizations to follow.

The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce received the award for their work on the Jamestown Jobs video series. As many businesses continue to see needs in their workforce, the series was created to showcase information about chamber businesses and their different employment opportunities in a fun and informational manner. Since 2023, the series has generated more than 20,000 views on Facebook and YouTube combined while helping to fulfill some of these open jobs in the community.

Jobs that have been highlighted include Sanitation, Lifeguard, Direct Support Professional, Machinist, EMT, Public Transit Driver, Food Service, Police Officer, Firefighter, and much more. The Chamber is now in season 2 and continues to connect and foster relationships with chamber members through the Jamestown Jobs video series.
