Cindy Colette Burchill, 67, passed away peacefully January 26, 2024 with hospice care after years of struggling through multiple health issues. Cremation has taken place.
She was born December 28, 1956, to Lorne and Delores Burchill. She grew up on the family farm near Pillsbury, North Dakota. Cindy was proud of her years working for the United States Postal Service in Pillsbury and Fullerton, ND. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, creating jewelry, writing short stories and poems. She started many projects and was lucky to finish half of them because something new caught her attention.
Cindy loved Jesus and spent much time studying the Bible. She also was a member and leader of Bible studies. She supported others by donating to various charities.
My flesh and my heart may fail but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart he is mine forever. Psalm 73:26
Cindy is survived by her mother, Delores, and her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lynn and Drew Myer of Mesa, AZ. Also surviving Cindy are her nephew and his wife, Andrew and Leslie Myer and their two sons, Benet and Ellis, of Fargo, ND; her niece, Maurissa Myer and her son, Maryck of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by one aunt, Selma Tuenge of Monticello, MN.
She is predeceased by her father in 2007.
Graveside services at Memory Gardens near Valley City, North Dakota, will be at 11 am on Monday, May 13, 2024. Family and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate her life.
