Lynley and Kaylyn Nadeau of Valley City

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Kaylyn and Lynley Nadeau will be competing in the Miss International Competition June 10th through June 15th in Denver.

11-year-old Kaylyn Nadeau wants to help kids who are a dealing with mental health issues. She said school counselor Vanessa Kocka gave her the idea for her business project.

Kaylyn said she and her sister Lynley are looking for local sponsors to support their efforts to get to the competition in Denver.

8-year-old Lynley Nadeau said her focus is to support the Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals and all they do to protect animals.

She also makes pet blankets.

Kaylyn and Lynley are students in the Valley City School District and the daughters of Ashley and Brandon Nadeau of Valley City.
