WELLS COUNTY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The body of an 81-year-old man missing since mid-November was discovered Sunday in a farmer’s field in Wells County, authorities said.

Lloyd Liken, of Bismarck, had been the subject of an extensive search since his disappearance several months ago. Bismarck Police Department received notification after Liken’s vehicle was located in the field approximately 30 miles north of Steele. Liken’s body was found in close proximity.

Police have indicated that they do not suspect foul play in Liken’s death
