BISMARCK – Once again, Jamestown procured a clean sheet and kept its good start going.
Blue Jay Girls Soccer recorded its second shutout in as many games this season, blanking St. Mary’s 2-0 at Smrekar Field.
Sara Sletto broke the scoreless draw for Jamestown (2-0-0, 2-0-0 WDA) by scoring in the 54th minute. Reese Christ doubled the lead in the 75th minute.
Olivia Sorlie made two saves in goal.
Joacelyn Barone made five saves in net for St. Mary’s (1-1-0, 1-1-0 WDA).
Jamestown, who is tied for the WDA lead at six points with Minot, will play Friday at Williston.
